In late 2017, when we defined our core purpose of ‘making it easier to meet today’s needs and reach tomorrow’s dreams’, we knew significant changes were needed to fulfill this promise. This past September, we took a big step forward to improve member experience by upgrading our Account Transaction System. Implementing a leading-edge system that we can build upon to improve our products and services was a massive undertaking, requiring steadfast commitment from every credit union team member. Throughout the course of the yearlong project, our core values were frequently on display, with the goals
of improving member experience and minimizing service disruption at the forefront
of every decision made. Significant change always comes with a few challenges, but we
are working through them and I’m confident you’ll soon experience first-hand the
improvements we’re making for your benefit.
At Premier America, we’re committed to serving our vibrant and diverse community to
help people thrive and build a brighter future. With this goal in mind, we’ve joined a growing collective of financial institutions and nonprofit organizations to widen the availability of affordable and responsible financial services to members in Southern California and Houston, Texas. Recently, Premier America’s commitment to financial service equality was recognized with the credit union receiving the prestigious Juntos Avanzamos (Together We Advance) designation by Inclusiv, a leading national advocate for financial inclusion.
Lastly, I’m pleased to announce that for the second consecutive year, Premier America
has received the Los Angeles Daily News Readers Choice award for Best Credit Union!
This is also the third consecutive year the credit union has captured a Readers Choice
award, with previous recognition in 2017 as Best Mortgage provider. These honors truly
belong to the members of Premier America who have shaped the value of the products
and services we offer and inspired us to place service at the forefront of everything we do.
