Giving Back

Our Premier America team came together once again for Give Back Day, making an incredible impact alongside Food Share Ventura County. This year, 80 of our volunteers assembled 1,200 Kitchen Free bags, packed 1,080 Senior Kit boxes across 18 pallets, and spread 12 yards of mulch over 1 acre in the Senior Nutrition Garden. Together, we’re fighting hunger and supporting those in need in Ventura County.

Our Houston team members joined forces with Houston Food Bank again on Give Back Day to make a positive impact on the Houston community! This year they helped create 31 pallets equaling to 22,968 meals for their community! Houston Food Bank distributes those food and other essentials to those in need through a network of community partners. 

We had an incredible time kicking off basketball season at The Premier America Credit Union Arena with an unforgettable night of fun and excitement. The annual event started with a special Fan Fair just outside the arena, where fans enjoyed the energy as the sun set and the anticipation built. Here’s to an amazing basketball season ahead — Go Matadors!

The Premier America Foundation had the incredible honor of delivering our third round of scholarships to five inspiring Santa Paula students! These remarkable individuals are not just shaping their futures but are also dedicated to giving back to their communities. It was a privilege to celebrate with their families, community members, and esteemed guests, including City Officials.

Premier America Credit Union proudly sponsored Lemonade Day Houston.⁠ 21 young entrepreneurs joined our free financial wellness classes, learning the ins and outs of marketing, profit vs. loss, and product development. Their earnings will be saved for new clothes, treating mentors to lunch, or donated to West Houston Assistance Ministries (WHAM). We are incredibly proud to support these budding entrepreneurs and help them build a foundation for future success

Our team members had an incredible time attending San Fernando Valley Pride! We proudly joined the San Fernando Valley community in celebrating the vibrant LGBTQ+ community. From marching in the parade to tabling at the event, it was a day filled with love, joy, and unity. Pride is so important to us and all of our members because we believe in celebrating diversity and inclusivity every day. At Premier America Credit Union, “We See YOU” and are committed to supporting and uplifting the LGBTQ+ community.

Premier America participated in the Zawadi Cultural Collective’s Juneteenth Community Celebration. We joined in celebrating the San Fernando Valley’s vibrant African American community, and happily celebrated the awarding of scholarships to local high school students.⁠

Premier America spent the day with almost 300 students from Agoura High as they experienced life as an adult in the Bite of Reality program. This hands-on simulation teaches teens how to make good financial decisions and understand the importance of setting a budget.
