Premier America Credit Union Employees Earn Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
CHATSWORTH, CA – (September 6, 2018)
Premier America Credit Union announced today that Sunita Daniel, Director of Business Analysis and Rose Flisco, Vice President of Risk Management have recently earned Six Sigma Green Belt certifications. The Harrison Street University Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is achieved through successful completion of coursework, skills assessment, and project demonstration.
Those who earn a Six Sigma Green Belt certification possess a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Six Sigma Method and the ability to effectively apply statistical problem solving and quality methodologies to key company improvement areas.
Daniel and Flisco’s project team focused on improving the change process for account vesting, and completing a name change for account owners. Their solutions included streamlining the workflow, simplifying the process steps and utilizing the online DocuSign platform. As a result of their solutions, they successfully reduced cycle time by 80% and process steps by 38%.
“I’m very pleased to have completed another Six Sigma project and another is underway. Using this process improvement methodology and having a number of team members trained in the process will enable Premier America to make banking easier for our Members,” commented Rudy Pereira, President/CEO of Premier America.
