Premier America Foundation Opens Scholarship Applications Cycle For Area Students With Dedication To Community Services

The Premier America Foundation has announced the opening of their 2025 Youth Scholarship application cohort for students enrolled in post-secondary education in the Fall 2025 semester. The Foundation grants 24 awards of $2,000 to area students, helping alleviate the financial burden of pursuing higher education.

“Each year, we see incredible students giving back and building stronger communities,” said Alex Gallardo, Premier America Foundation, Executive Director. “We are honored to have the ability to support their dreams and thereby, build brighter futures one person at a time.”

The youth scholarship program supports student leaders who demonstrate courage, strength, and wisdom as shown by their community impact through volunteer service. Applicants should have a demonstrated track record of strong academic performance, exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and a heart for service.

Since the introduction of the annual scholarship program in 2021, 67 service-minded youth have been recognized for their dedication to their communities through the Premier America Foundation. Funding for the Foundation is provided by team members of Premier America Credit Union, local and national grants, and by a one penny per card swipe donation from member activity at Premier America Credit Union.

Additionally, the Premier America Foundation has made a significant investment over the past five years in improving the financial well-being of residents, young and old. The team, with the support of Premier America Credit Union, has hosted dozens of financial wellness workshops at schools, with sports clubs, and through community-based organizations.

Foundation Board Member and Premier America Chief Experience Officer, Marci Francisco, echoed Gallardo’s sentiments, “We believe that education is key to increasing social mobility and transforming communities. It is a privilege to be able to support our future leaders as they grow.”

Scholarship applications are due by March 31, 2025, and may be submitted at the Foundation’s website at https://www.premieramericafoundation.org/
